Montepiedra Aggregates Corporation is the leading aggregates supplier in Iloilo, providing rock for many construction companies in the country. They wanted to establish their presence on the Web, so that they can generate sales and capital.
In my first project after graduation, I worked with the client to design and develop an informational company website. With our collaboration, we came up with a static website designed to be simple, matching the company's visual identity approach.
I worked on the design and developed the code for the website, while the client provided the content, such as photos and copy.
The client wanted a website that shows the work that they’ve been doing: their products, their projects, and their work in the community. We also discussed what the overall look and feel of their website should be: clean, simple, minimalistic, and rich with information.

Taking these into consideration, I made some sketches of what I imagined the website to look like. I also looked into some aggregates websites to see which pages are generally included. I came up with pages for the following:
With a rough idea of what the website contains, I created mockups using Atomic.io, back when its prototyping tool was still active. While I did my best to produce a design that matched their needs, I was very much open to the client’s suggestions for improvement through our regular communication.
The design wasn’t really set in stone - we were open to some elements being altered - but it was clear to us what the end product should look and feel like.

I created a new Django project and started developing the website, modifying the design regularly. Elements such as photos and copy were added and changed as we went along.
After 3 months of design and development, the website was finally launched!
